At last, an assured haven for seafood lovers! Daily deliveries of fresh fish from the local Sardinian coastline make this restaurant a stop you cannot miss.

The restaurant is easy to find, on one of the oldest and most characteristic roadways in Gallura, leading to S. Teresa di Gallura with ferry connections to Corsica (Bonifacio), land of the legendary Napoleon Bonaparte. An aquarium with the 'catch of the day' welcomes you at the entrance along with our warm reception.

We will help you in your choice of fish, caught before your eyes and prepared using classic recipes - baked, all'acqua pazza or baked in salt. A characteristic specialty of the restaurant is the L'Osteria's appetiser which varies according to the day's catch and the chef's creative ideas.

In our restaurant raw fish is also prepared in many interesting ways. Some of our specialties are: prawns from Sardinia; Carpaccio and Tartar of bass, red tuna and Seriola, mussels, warty venus, razor-shells and sea urchins of Porto Pozzo. The first courses we propose are homemade pasta with shellfish, sea parcels(tortelli), fregola (Sardinian pasta), spaghetti with sea urchins. The second local courses are (ziminu di pesciu) fish chowder, our special mixed grilled fish and shellfish.

And to finish, what better way to end a well-spent evening than with one of our exquisite house desserts.

All outside tables are set in pleasant and relaxing green surroundings.
